After the 20 overs, Sri Lanka scored 139/4 and Pakistan who had to chase 140 could only score 123/7.

SLC calls for team tenders
(Colombo Lankapuvath) Sri Lanka Cricket is pleased to announce that the Invitation to Tender for a Team / Franchise for one of the seven teams in the “SLPL” is now open.
The Sri Lanka Premier League “SLPL” is aimed at being Sri Lanka’s most prestigious, annually held, Twenty20 cricket competition and shall feature the best and upcoming cricketing talent from Sri Lanka alongside national Sri Lankan cricketers as well as some of the world’s biggest Twenty20 cricket stars.
Inaugural season of the SLPL shall be played in August this year between August 11th and August 31st, 2012 (both dates inclusive) at the iconic R. Premadasa International Cricket Stadium in Colombo and the Pallekele International Cricket Stadium in Kandy.
All persons keen on being potential holders of Franchises should collect the “Invitation to Tender” (“ITT”) document – which is now available at SLC’s Head Office located at 35, Maitland Place, Colombo 07, upon payment of a non-refundable deposit of SLR 50,000/- per document.
The last date and time for submission of such bid is Monday, June 25, 2012 by 2:00 p.m.
