(Colombo Lankapuvath) The Minister of Health Maithreepala Sirisena has made a request from all Lanka doctors serving overseas to return to the island.
He made this request addressing the Medical Summit held at the BMICH. The war in the country made a lot of Doctors leave and settle in other countries but now however, the situation is different and there is peace for everyone.
The Minister noted that it was safe for doctors to return to the motherland and serve the country under the present conditions.
He also requested them to share the knowledge and technology they have gained overseas.
