(Colombo-Lankapuvath) There will be scattered showers in North, Eastern, North Central and Uva Provinces today (05), said the Met Department.
Scattered showers or thunder showers could develop in other areas of the country during afternoon or evening.
Also, there will be scattered showers in sea areas off the Eastern, South Eastern and North Western coasts.
The Mannar Bay sea area and the deep sea areas off the Western and North Eastern coasts could be rough at times, added the Met Department.
