(Colombo Lankapuvath) Thai Pongal celebrations were held yesterday (16) under the patronage of President Mahinda Rajapaksa at the Temple Trees.
The President and First Lady were warmly welcomed to the Thai Pongal Festival.
Present at the event were Prime Minister, D M Jayarathne, External Affairs Minister, G L Peiris, and Indian Foreign Minister, S M Krishna.
