Mullaitivu District Local Council Elections on February 28
(Colombo, Lankapuvath) - It is reported that the Department of Elections has decided to hold Pudukuduirippu and Maritimepattu Local Council Elections on February 28, 2015.Speaking to Lankapuvath National News Agency, Commissioner of Elections Mahinda Deshapriya confirmed that Pudukuduirippu and Maritimepattu Local Council Elections will be held on 28th next month.

Much relief for people from Interim Budget
The Interim Budget 2015 presented in Parliament yesterday (29), offering an array of relief to all sections of the society. Ravi Karunanayake, in his capacity as the Minister of Finance and Planning presenting stated that the Government believes in uplifting and developing the lives of every citizen of this country, not just a selected few.
